NYU College of Dentistry Botox and Facial Pain Study

Many patients at Elite Dental Arts have already experienced the benefits of Botox for Dentistry firsthand by the work of Dr Nick M Mobilia.  A considerable number of patients have found relief from facial pain, teeth grinding (bruxism), joint and muscle discomfort, and subsequent headaches and migraines.  Now, Elite Dental Arts is pleased to announce Dr Mobilia’s involvement as a major contributor in the NYU College of Dentistry study on Botox and Facial Pain/TMJ because of his expertise and experience in this field.  Injecting patients in his practice and teaching with Dentox for the last 10 years has enabled him to redefine the protocol for the dental therapeutic applications of Botox.  He is also one of the most experienced dentist and injector in this field.
The study will focus on the impact of Botox injections on facial pain (TMJ), specifically in female patients.  NYU College of Dentistry is still seeing qualified participants, who will be compensated for their participation.  Web survey participants are also needed. Please click on the following link from TMJ Association to find out more about the study.   Our office will be sharing more information as the study progresses.

  1. Botox for Dentistry is quickly becoming the standard of care. Many dental applications are being studied and developed with our research team at Dentox.
