There are two forms of Zoom! Whitening available. There is In-Office Whitening and Take-Home Whitening. Both of these types are guaranteed to increase the brightness of your smile. There is not much of a difference between the two besides where the whitening occurs. The In-Office system brightens your smile by eight shades, while the Take-Home system whitens by six shades.

 

The Zoom! In-Office System takes about an hour to complete. During the procedure, a light-activated whitening gel will be placed on your teeth. This is made out of hydrogen peroxide. When the light is applied to your teeth the hydrogen peroxide will begin to break down. Oxygen enters your teeth and whitens them. The entire procedure is completely painless. During the procedure, many patients relax, either sleeping, reading, or watching TV.

 

The Zoom! Take-Home Whitening System consists of whitening gels and trays for you to use at your home. Over the course of three days, you will wear the whitening gel on your teeth for 4-8 hours. Drs. Mobilia and Grossman will let you know the specifics for you individually.

Invisalign are the braces of the future. Say goodbye to uncomfortable metal braces. Invisalign are worn 24 hours a day, except when eating, brushing, and flossing. They are almost impossible to notice when wearing them because of their clear coloring. There’s no need to feel self-conscious with Invisalign.

 

Patients who experience the best results from Invisalign only have mild to moderate spacing and crowding issues. It is not recommended for more severe orthodontic care. Unaligned teeth, or malocclusion, is also treatable through Invisalign. When left untreated, malocclusion can lead to periodontal disease and create unnecessary stress on the teeth and jaws.

 

At your appointment, Dr. Mobilia will use Invisalign imaging technology to take hundreds of pictures of your mouth. This lets us understand how your teeth fit together and bite. Dental Crowns

Teeth naturally begin to lose their quality and appearance as we age. They become more susceptible to problems like decay, cracks, and discoloration. Dental crowns can help. If you feel like your smile isn’t what it once was, contact Elite Dental Arts.  Dr. Nick M. Mobilia provides these dental crown services.

Crowns can be made of zirconia, porcelain, porcelain fused to metal, or full gold. It is recommended that your crown be a porcelain fused crown or zirconia, as these look and feel the most natural. They can also be customized to match the coloring of your other teeth.

 

The entire process will take 2 appointments. At the first appointment, your tooth will be trimmed, reconfigured for reshaping and a mold will be taken of your newly shaped tooth. This mold or impression is what will be used to create your crown. We will send the impression off to a dental laboratory. It takes between 2-3 weeks for the crown to be made. You will be given a temporary crown until then.

 

At your final appointment, dental cement or bonding material will be used to set the crown onto your tooth. Crowns are durable and can last between 10-15 years. Make sure to care for it as you would any of your other teeth. The better you take care of your crown, the longer it will last.
